Established as a nonprofit cooperative The Bearded Apple is acting as a springboard to kickstart the local economy by being an example of a healthy local business, by demonstrating the characteristics of a healthy local economy as well as supporting the continual growth of a robust local economy. The Bearded Apple is for the community, driven by the community, successful because of the community. With each cup of coffee purchased an investment into the community is made.
