The Bearded Apple is a nonprofit cooperative that is revitalizing the community. Being a nonprofit, the funds that come into The Bearded Apple pay all the bills and payroll, then the remaining funds go into a revolving fund that will assist other individuals in Iron County in starting small, local businesses. Being a cooperative puts the power of deciding what the community wants and needs in the hands of the community. As a cooperative The Bearded Apple is is owned and run jointly by its members, who are individuals from the community who share the desire for change.
